Pune: Secretary of State Health Dr.
Pradeep Vyas Looking for an additional 1.5-crore vaccine dose for July in the letter to the Union Health Secretary of Rajesh Bhushan last week, against the background of Maharashtra recorded 10,000 Covid infections every day on average and reporting maximum Delta cases Plus the SARS-COV-19 variant in this country.

Vyas said the government would want to encourage further vaccination programs and vaccinate 10-12 lakh in a day to complete the targeted group inoculation at the end of August.
The state has been allocated 1.15 doses of crore vaccines for July.
In his letter to the Uni Health Secretary, Vyas wrote, “We report around 10,000 new cases every day for the past three weeks despite trying to follow all the detention instructions, isolation, testing, and tracking.
As a result, the state has the highest number of active cases in the country despite the level Keposituity in almost all districts has fallen below 5%.
“Nine districts have a higher level of participation than the average state of 4.5%.
The state task force and the public health department have demanded targeted vaccination in these districts.
“In one of the previous meetings, the country was asked to present a plan to manage up to nine doses of lakh covid in a day.
We request an additional allocation of at least 1.5 dose of crore for July 2021 above and above what has been allocated,” Dr.
