Thane: A 33-year-old father strangled his seven-year-old daughter angrily after successively with his wife early on Saturday in Mumbra.
A police officer informed that the defendant Anish Maldar and his wife, who lived in Santosh Nagar, Mumbra, would often fight.
On Friday night, the duo was fighting again.
In anger, the defendant took the girl and strangled him to death.
When the mother knew, he told the police.
The defendant, a daily wage worker, was indicted for murder.
The victim’s body has been sent for postmortem.
