MUMBAI: Isolated heavy rain in areas of the town was listed on Tuesday.
Weathermen explained it was because of the growth of a offshore trough in North Maharashtra shore to North Kerala shore.
Westerly winds across the area had strengthened, resulting in rain.
The weathermen prediction that while mild to moderate rain is most probably on Wednesday, June 17-18 are extremely likely to see substantial rain at isolated areas.
On Tuesday afternoon IMD had murdered a nowcast warning which moderate to extreme bouts of rainfall was likely at isolated places in Mumbai and Thane in 3 hours.
Tweeting about it,” K S Hosalikar, scientist, IMD, stated there was a chance of extreme bouts of rainfall, mainly involving the island town, in regions such as Colaba, CSMT, Worli and adjacent portions for 2-3 hours.
Components of Thane and Navi Mumbai overly listed light rain on Tuesday morning.
