Maharashtra, Kerala no later than getting out of the second wave

Kerala and Maharashtra, both countries hit the most difficult by Covid, continuing to be the slowest to get out of the deadly second wave.
In the week ended on Sunday, new cases in India fell 11% but Kerala registered a 7% increase and Maharashtra recorded a 4% decline.
Together, the two countries contributed 48% of all new cases recorded in a week by calculating along with nearly 1.5 lakh.
Nationally, more than 3 lakh reported seven days.
Both have reported a new number of new cases for three weeks running.
Kerala recorded 84,791 last week’s infection, up from 79,500 in the previous seven days, while 81,155 cases were reported on Sunday before that.
In Maharashtra, the number of cases was 61,283 weeks ago, 64,113 in the previous week and 63,789 on Sunday.
The virus continued to spread in the northeastern part of the sea, with Sikkim reported a 63% surge in case last week even though the overall number in the country was low.
In Tripura, the case rose 13% compared to the previous week while Manipur saw a 10% surge.
Meanwhile, for the first time in 91 days, the number of daily deaths fell below 500 on Monday.
