Thane: Family members from forest officers from Murbad in the Thane District who died in the accident on the road in 2018 were awarded compensation around Rs 85 Lakh in the sequence of Thane accidents recently.
In a command, MACT member RN Rokade ordered two opponents to pay compensation to families who died together and severely along with 7% interest from the date of claim.
Two opponents in this case are Rajendra Rathore, owners of tankers, and new Indian guarantee companies.
Prosecutors are represented by the Pawar Advocate.
Insurance companies compete for claims about various reasons represented by KV Poojari advocates.
The owner of the tanker did not appear and this problem was decided through him – meaning, in his absence.
In claims, the late widow, avinash bombe, parents and old children told the court that Bombe, then 38 years old, worked as a forest official.
On May 14, 2018, at around 11pm, he was near the residential complex entrance at his bicycle parked on the service road when the tanker would be pushed by “rashes and negligence colliding” by bicycle.
Bombe fell, suffered serious injuries and died on the spot.
His family told the court that he drew Rs 43,396 salary.
They propose that they really depend on it and claims submitted for the compensation award.
In its order, the court members were observed, “The accident occurred solely due to the rash and negligent driving in the driver of the tanker.
The insurance company failed to chase any material on the record to prove violations of insurance contracts, if any.
The responsibility of the two opponents to Paying compensation cannot be obtained.
Therefore, I tend to hold that the two opponents together and are very responsible for paying compensation.
“The total compensation is RS 84.94,600 covers, Rs 40,000 towards the consortium to the widow, RS.15,000 each each against the loss of plantations and funeral costs, the order said.
