Bhandara: Anger and disgust seen in Sangita Dhurse (25), a resident of Srinagar Village in Bhandara Regency, because he remembers the January 9 fire tragedy in the newborn (SNCU) unit.
Yogita, one of the Boy’s baby is between the 10 newborns who died, complaining about the rude behavior of medical staff at SNCU that night.
“I don’t want to get pregnant anymore,” he said, when her husband Vikesh and 4 year old daughter saw.
Yogita has tried to overcome trauma.
“But sometimes, that night continued to blink in front of my eyes,” he said.
More or less, Vandana Sedam also faces the same situation.
Need treatment and counseling for the next three months to accept reality.
“I can’t sleep.
My asthma was exacerbated and I used to headache for days,” Vandana said.
He had been to his marriage house in Ravanwadi Village since May 2020 and was sent in January 2021.
Her husband Mohan worked in a company in Palghar where the couple now lives with their 6-year-old daughter.
After recovering, Vandana returned to Palghar in June last year.
A test was carried out in ash to confirm the identity of a seven days old baby.
“Himahah Nahi Ho Rahi Fir Udhar Jane Ki (does not have the courage to go there again),” Vandana said by telephone.
Vandana, six months pregnant, has been suggested a bed break and plans to send in Palghar’s private hospital.
Dhurse and sedam pairs have received total RS8 Lakh compensation in different financial schemes.
“Half of it was repaired in the name of my daughter.
The rest we invest in buying 4 hectares of agriculture,” said the Dhurses.
Sedam has improved the entire amount on behalf of their 6 year old Daugther.
Both, Yogita and Vandana unanimously in blaming the hospital medical staff because their negligence beside accusing them to hide the death of their baby.
“We were told our children were safe.
They lied to us even though we kept asking where the baby.
The staff told us the baby was expelled from SNCU,” Vandana said.
Echoing Vandana, Yogita said the government must also ensure that staff at the General Hospital treats them well not only clinically but also morally.
“Such tragedies should happen again.
They don’t pay attention right.
I was not allowed to feed my one day baby even.
It was because of their negligence.
Even if I planned a baby, I would send it more at home,” he said.
