Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 1,485 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said on Monday.
According to the health bulletin, the country recorded 27 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking dead to 1,39,816.
The fatality rate of cases in the country is 2.12 percent.
The number of active cases in Maharashtra stands at 28.008.
Furthermore, with 2078 recovery in the last 24 hours, the total number of people recovered from the disease has reached 64.21,756.
The recovery rate in the country is currently at 97.4 percent.
Of the 6.11.16,353 sample Covid-19 collected 65.93.182 samples were tested positively for Covid-19 to date.
At present, 2,08,613 people in the state are under the house and 961 people are in institutional quarantine.
Meanwhile, Mumbai’s country’s capital reported 373 new Covid-19 cases, 543 recovery and 4 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases in Mumbai is currently standing at 4,853.
Mumbai has noted the death of Zero Covid-19 for the first time since March 26, 2020.
