Mumbai: Covid-19 cases in the state and the city surged on Wednesday, with Maharashtra adding 5,031 and Mumbai 342 – the highest single coast in three weeks for the city.
Death also sees waves in the state.

In other days, deaths have been under 200 years old.
The city’s daily victims were four, with a total of 15,956.

The additional Commissioner BMC Suresh Kakani said BMC prepared to do more tests every day when the celebration season was close.
