THANE:”A guy was wounded after his wife allegedly assaulted him with a knife after a petty national quarrel in Maharashtra’s Thane district,” authorities said on Tuesday.
“The episode occurred in Ambernath township in the night of Sunday and Monday as soon as the guy came home late and requested his wife to serve dinner.
This caused a struggle between them after the girl, aged approximately 30, supposedly stabbed at him with a kitchen knife,” Shivaji Nagar police station senior inspector Madhukar Bhoye stated.
“The guy, who’s also about 30 years old, he received injuries in his neck and back and underwent treatment in a hospital,” he explained.
“The few used to have regular quarrels over national problems,” the officer stated.
“According to a police complaint lodged from the guy, a case has been filed against his spouse under Indian Penal Code Section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means),” he explained, adding that no arrest has been made up to now.
