Mumbai: After suspending 2,053 workers about a week back for strikes, MSRTC on Wednesday issued termination notification to 2,296 daily wage staff, which included 2,126 drivers and 132 conductors that operate the bus on various routes.
Notifications have come as a surprise for the striking MSRTC workers who, however, said they would not let go of their protests.
The union source indicates that protests will continue at least until November 22, when this problem appears to hear in the Bombay High Court.
In an incident near Pune, the battle between the conductor that operates the MSRTC bus and a bus controller that broke down was ugly, with the latter being injured in the eye and was hospitalized on Wednesday.
