The defendant was arrested on August 1, 2020, where a total of 691kg Marijuana worth RS 1.3 Crore was found in a quiet truck on the road near Hyde Park in Kapurbawdi.
Maurya was named up on charges of arresting in this case.
The defendant transferred a guarantee application stating that he had been framed in this case and there was no relationship between charges together and him.
However, the prosecutor and investigative officers told the court that he had touched the main vendor and a contrainrote supplier.
The police found 312 packages of marijuana, each with a weight of 2kg under the pile of corn seeds in the truck.
