Mumbai: The Maharashtra government will oppose amendments to the rules of the IAS cadre proposed by the center.
This problem was raised in the Country Cabinet and it was decided that the General Administration Department would write to the central government to inform them about the opposition the state government and their attitude.
The Country Cabinet called the proposal by the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) that seeks to have absolute forces in the transfer of IAS as arbitrary.
This center has proposed amendments to the 1954 rule of Cadre, which will enable him to post an IAS officer in the Central Deputation past the state government order.
“The proposed policy will affect state administration so that countries must say in this matter.
We will oppose policy,” said a minister.
Six countries have opposed the policy.
On January 12, Dopt has sent a proposal for amendments in IAS (cadres) ruling in 1954 ‘to all Secretary of the Head of State.
The letter stated that every time the center called officers about officers, he would preach from each cadre.
