NAGPUR: A pedestrian was killed after being struck by an SUV at Beltarodi region of Nagpur, authorities said on Friday.
The incident happened on Thursday night.
The dead person, Sanjay Sadashiv Pardhi (45), a resident of Bhandara district, had came at Nagpur on Thursdaythey said.
“Shortly after getting down by a bus approximately 8.
30 pm, then he had been crossing a street when he was struck by the SUV.
He expired on the area,” a police officer said.
The driver fled on the website following the episode, he explained.
An instance under IPC sections 279 (rash driving), 304(A) (causing death by neglect ) and segments of the Motor Vehicles Act, he explained.
