Nagpur: Nagpur bench from the Bombay High Court on Friday fired a petition that was sought that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and News Minister Union Amit Shah was disqualified under the representation of the People’s Law (RP), 1951.

Section 80 and 81 dealing with what circumstances, the petition that challenges selection can be submitted, and article 102 explains how MP can lose parliamentary membership.
Applicants, instead of pursuing other drugs under the law, moved the High Court even when he himself was an advocate, the judges noted.
The court rejected the petition and imposed a RS 1,000 fee to the applicant.
He must deposit the number with the HC Legal Services Committee.
