Navi Mumbai: Rain destroys the belt of Konkan Raigad, Ratnagiri and the Sindhudurg district see the death toll until 83 while 50 remains lost on Sunday.
The death of floods and landslides in all countries rose to 149 while 64 was still missing.
CM Uddhav Thackeray visits several parts affected and knows that locals still ask for food, water, medicines and food for animals.
“There is a lack of food and great water for the locals,” said Rajendra Shinde, a Chiplun resident (Ratnagiri).

Taliye Tribal at Mahad Taluka, said the earthquake 14 years ago has caused a gap on the hill, causing the latest landslides, but the authorities did not confirm the claim.
“There are no records of cracks related to tremors available in administrative records,” said Raigad Additional SP Sachin Gunjal.
An official said most of the missing people were cases of people buried in landslides or swept in flood waters.
Other officials said that rescue operations did not stop, with the NDRF team, SDRF, Army, Navy and coastal beaches still working in the district-affected districts.
A total of 2,29,074 people have been evacuated from their homes in the KONKAN and the western part of the country – 1,200 of them came from Ratnagiri, 1,000 of Raigad, 1,271 from Sindhudurg and 1.69.998 from Sangli among other places.
“A middle and half-year-old child is still lost at the landslide location in Chiplun,” said the RAM YADAV inspector from NDRF.
