Mumbai: Maharashtra has recorded maximum registration – around 34% – from the total BH (Bharat) -Series plates registered throughout the country, the latest statistics show.
The Commissioner of the State Transportation Commissioner Avinash Dhakne, “This special number plate is useful for vehicle owners who have to move from one country to another which includes government work and personal work.
This allows vehicle owners to avoid various registration issues before due to the shift between countries.
“In fact, registration plate number BH-Series crosses 1,000 marks in this state.
While Maharashtra issued 1,017 BH number plate since it was launched in October last year, Odisha issued 444, Delhi 382, Rajasthan 326 and Uttar Pradesh 229.
The total number of number plate released in the country is 2,960, statistics show.
A senior RTO official said, “In the private sector, a company employees who have offices at least four states / unions are eligible to get the BH number voluntarily.” Dhakne said, “This is a good system because there will be no more troubled to get a car registered in a new state every time you are transferred.
I have watched people who struggle early to get a vehicle transferred to another country, filling a number of forms RTO, Get NOCS and Tax Returns, etc.
“He added that there are many applicants from the public sector business which now gets the BH serial number plate.
Until now, according to the 1988 motorized vehicle law, a vehicle registered under circumstances when stored in other states for more than 12 months subject to new registration assignments.
The registration process is boring, now it has been done after the launch of the BH-Series.
How do you apply for? Vehicle owners must be applied by filling out form 60 and providing valid online work / proof.
The State Authority will verify the evidence and then set the BH registration.
The registration number will be produced randomly by the computer, officials said.
