Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 4,575 new Coronavirus cases and 145 deaths on Saturday while 5,914 patients recovered from infection.
Kaseload Covid-19 The state rose to 64,20,510, while the dead increased to 1.35,817, an official said.
Nandurbar District in Maharashtra Utara did not record a case of Covid-19 active for the sixth day in a row.
5,914 patients were dismissed from hospitals during the day, taking a recovery count to 62.27,219.
There are 53,967 active cases in the country today.
The recovery rate of Covid-19 Maharashtra stands at 96.99 percent, while the mortality rate is 2.11 percent.
A total of 2,02,452 coronavirus tests were carried out throughout the country in the last 24 hours, pushing the total test to 5.21,24,250.
The Solapur district reported 638 highest new infections, followed by Satara at 591 infections.
The Satara District also recorded the deaths of 51 highest since Friday night.
Of the eight administrative regions of Maharashtra, the Pune region reported 2,177 new Covid-19 cases, almost half of the total cases were recorded during the daytime.
The Kolhapur region reported 766 new cases, Nashik Region 716 cases, Mumbai 654, Mumbai 206, Aurangabad 20, Akola 27 and the Nagpur region reported nine cases.
Of the 145 deaths reported during the day, the highest highest fatality of the Pune region, followed by 26 in Kolhapur and 15 in the Mumbai region.
The Nashik and Latur area reported 13 and 10 deaths.
The area of Akola and Aurangabad reported three and two deaths, while no deaths reported in the Nagpur Division.
The city of Mumbai witnessed 262 new cases and five deaths, while Pune City reported 538 infections and ten deaths.
Of the 53,967 patients undergoing treatment, Pune District contributed 12,502 highest.
