Maharashtra reported 8,602 fresh infections

Pune: The number of deaths in the Covid-19 daily fell to a four-month seven low in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Wednesday.

A report released by district health workers, Bhagwan Pawar, stated that Pimpri Chinchwad and rural areas recorded more recovery than new cases.
A total of 869 patients were declared recovered in rural areas in the last 24 hours, followed by the Limit Municipal Pimpri Chinchwad (331) and the Pune Civic region (277).
With this, the calculation of positive cases in the region has increased above 10.66 lakh, while the total recovery has reached 10.39 lakh.
Increased release makes the total active patients in the area below 10,000.
Tally decreased to 9,632 on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, the health authority in the region examined 21,589 samples for infections on Wednesday.
The countryside area and PMC boundaries each examined more than 8,000 samples, while 4,623 tests were carried out in the Pimpri Chinchwad area.
Maharashtra reported 8,602 cases against 7,243 cases on Tuesday, taking Covid Caseload to 61.8 lakh and fatality to 1,26,390.
Death in the state reported a decline – 170 against 196 on Tuesday.
