Pune: The Minister of Health of Rajesh Tope on Saturday said the state would need at least 2 doses of Crore Covid vaccines a month to ensure the number of adequate people was fully vaccinated.
Full vaccination is now a necessity for residents who hope to access places or services such as malls or local trains.
But the deficiency means longer waiting for the second jab.
Many industries and businesses also have to wait until the staff and customers are fully vaccinated.
Tope said he would meet the Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya immediately to discuss coverage in the state, which targeted 10 lakh daily Jabs.
“The shortcomings have delayed the second dose for Lakh Peple.
We get the supply, but need more to increase the drive,” Tope said.
