Mumbai: Maharashtra on Sunday reported 845 fresh coronavirus cases and 17 deaths, while the count of active cases fell below 10,000, the health department said.
With this, state infection counts up to 66.29,875 and the death toll becomes 1,40,739, he said.
A total of 730 patients were removed from the hospital in the last 24 hours, which raised the amount of recovery in Maharashtra to 64.75.682, leaving the country with 9,799 active cases.
The recovery rate of Covid-19 Maharashtra is now at 97.67 percent and mortality rate is 2.12 percent.
The number of testing tests conducted so far in Maharashtra rose to 6.46.87.403, where 93,193 samples were examined in the last 24 hours, said health bulletin.
The city of Mumbai reported 212 new infections that day, followed by Pune City which added 101 cases.
Among the eight administrative regions of Maharashtra (each consisting of the district set), the Mumbai region reported 358 of the highest cases, Pune 250 region and Nashik 162 region cases.
Aurangabad Region adds 24 cases, 19th, Kolhapur 15, Nagpur 10 and Akola seven cases.
The Mumbai region reported seven fatalities, followed by five in the Pune region, respectively in the Nashik area and the Latur area.
Nagpur, Akola and Aurangabad did not report Covid-19 fatality in the last 24 hours.
