Mumbai: Maharashtra on Sunday reported 9,336 positive cases of fresh Coronavirus and 123 deaths, taking infection calculations to 60.98,177 and the toll becomes 1,23,030, the state health department said.
A total of 3,378 patients were discarded during the day, raising the recovery count in the state to 58,48,693 so far, leaving it with 1,23,225 active cases, the department said in the release.
The case recovery rate in Maharashtra now stands at 95.91 percent and the mortality rate is 2.01 percent.
Mumbai reported 553 cases on the day and 24 deaths, took Caseload to 7.24 675 and the count of casualties was 15,544, the department said.
The Mumbai division reported 1,775 cases and 27 deaths, raising calculations of up to 16.02.903 and tolls to 32,293.
The Nashik division reported 669 new cases while Division Pune added 2,380 infections including 764 in Satara Regency.
The Kolhapur division reported 389 cases, Kolhapur 1,461 Regency and Sangli District 1,073, according to the department.
The Aurangabad division reported 194 fresh cases, the Latur 242 Division, Division Akola 97, and Nagpur Division 82.
With 2,22,063 new tests, the total number of samples tested so far in Maharashtra rose to 4,25,42,943, the department said.
