Mumbai: The state will introduce changes in the school curriculum in the environment from the next academic session.
The decision to participate in the new curriculum in class 1-8 will be taken by the Department of School Education.
The State Department on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Education and Unicef to the introduction of a new curriculum which included biodiversity conservation, solid waste management and individual health and communities, water resource management besides energy, air pollution and climate change.
