Thane: On the first day of school for class V and above opened again in Thane after a Coronavirus-induced break, Rajesh Narvestar District collector and the Mayor of Naresh Mhaske City visited Saraswati’s second school where both of them learned a few years ago.
With both claiming that the trip made them emotional.
In rural areas of the Thane and Palghar districts, the school for class V and above has been reopened, while it is class VIII and above for those in the city center, an official said on Monday.

Narvestar, who also from the same school, said he was emotional when visiting his alma mater after a gap 38 years.
