MUMBAI: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination stands and students will be assessed according to their course 9 and course 10 marks.
But for entrance to course 11, preference is being awarded to pupils who’ll choose the 100 marks Common Entrance Test (CET).

More than 16 lakh students in the country were to take the assessment which was held from April 29 to May 20.

State education minister Varsha Gaikwad on Friday published the evaluation methodology of course 10 pupils and stated that the outcome will be announced in the past week of June.
For each 100 marks at a topic, 50 percent weightage will be awarded to course 9 and 50 percent to course 10 scores.

In the event of course 9 marks, the students will be assessed over the marks scored in the last assessments.
Faculties had conducted online examinations following the nation wide lockdown was declared in March this past year.

In the event of course 10 evaluation, 30 marks weightage will be provided for written examinations (all examinations were conducted on line ).
And 20 marks are granted for oral tests, homework and practicals/viva.
Pupils will get an alternative of this course improvement test, if they aren’t satisfied with their own scores.

The state will run a 100 marks Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to course 11.
Although the assessment will be discretionary and may be obtained by pupils of education boards, so CET scores will probably receive preference for admission into course 11.
The 100 marks evaluation for 2 hours may have multiple choice questions.
Those pupils not accepting the CET will afterwards be considered for entrance to schools according to their course 10 outcomes.

The country is very likely to submit an affidavit from the Bombay high court on Friday about its evaluation methodology.
