Maharashtra: The e-registration housing pilot project reaches next month

Mumbai: The pilot project for the state to deliver e-registration for housing projects listed under Maharera will start from mid-September, before the actual roll-out starting October 1, Inspector General Registration and Shravan Hardikar stamps said in Pune on Thursday.
The registration department is preparing by ensuring that the maximum developer is registered under the process and they have reached the builder association above the commencement of the pilot project.
Hardikar tells the Toi that an application is being prepared for a pilot project.
“More than 100 developers have registered electronic more than 346 projects throughout the state.
The e-registration process will enable the sale and purchase of housing projects, so buyers and sellers no longer need to visit the registration office.
We will first launch a pilot project on The third week of September.
After this, we will activate all registered developers under Maharera to carry out the process of their office, “he said.
Revenue Minister Ballasaheb Thorat has told the Toi in June that the E registration process among the initiatives planned to streamline work, especially during a pandemic, and reduce footsteps at the registration office.
A registration department officer said the process was being implemented on a small scale.
“Now, with this mandatory from October 1, the registration department ensures that the software is being prepared in the middle of next month,” the official said.
The pilot project is being carried out in advance to ensure that before the actual roll-out, the application is being tested and there is no technical disruption.
“Conceptual evidence will be ready in front of the pilot project.
This process will also be decided and will quote the criteria, such as categorizing developers with 100 or more flats, and 50 or more flats, and continue with the registration process in phase,” Hardikar said.
Other officials said, “The E-registration process can continue even when the restrictions induced by a pandemic.
