Thane: Three people were arrested for allegedly belonging to Mephedrone (MD) worth more than Rs 21 Lakh in the area of Jalan Mira in Maharashtra District, police said on Friday.

Farhad Kamru’s accusations of Biswas (19), a Kashimira resident, told the police that he had received a narcotics from One Arbaz Nissar Khan, who in turn, bought it from Akil Ahmed Sayeed Ahmed Ansari (22), a supplier, the official said.
The police arrested two other accused and confiscated 271 GM Mephedrone from their home, he said, adding to the deleted contrabanded goods that had been valued at Rs 21.68 lakh.
Violations under the laws of narcotics and psychotropic substances (NDPS) have been registered with the Trio with the Police Station Mira, the official said.
