Amravati: Three people sank in two different incidents in Melghat on Sunday.
Police said that two young men – Sheikh Ikaram Shaikh Hussain Quereshi (26) and Sheikh Azim Shaikh Sailor (27) – from Akola sank in Jatra Doh in Chikhaldara.
The deceased has come with seven of their friends as a tourist.
After visiting various points, they reached Jatra DOH, under the division of the Wildlife Reserve Melghat Tiger, where they entered water even though it was converted and sunk.
In another incident at Khatkali Doh, Harish Janrao Kalmegh (38), a chausala resident in Anjangaon Surji Tehsil, sank.
