Maharashtra: Women among 3 are held to bid smear

Alibag: Three people, including a complainant, have been arrested on Alibag in Raigad Maharashtra Regency for allegedly creating a fake social media account to slander a man for old hostilities centered around the sand business, a police officer said on Friday.
A woman who works in a lawyer’s office has filed a complaint that he has received an unpleasant message from a Facebook account, which is on behalf of a pen-based man, he said.
“We arrested a 19-year-old man who worked in the same office as a complainant woman and claimed to have made an account about the instructions of his lawyer.
This is to defame a pen-based men, who complained against their employers in connection with the sand business,” he said.
Women’s complainants, adolescents and employers of their lawyers were arrested for conspiring and creating a fake Facebook account to trap Pen-based men, the Alibag police station said.
