Thane: The police have arrested a 32-year-old woman, Paramour and a friend for allegedly killing her husband in the Thane Maharashtra district, an official said on Thursday.
The body of the 38-year-old victim was found in a taxi Mancholi Naka in the city of Bhiwandi here on August 1, said Senior Inspector of the Narpoli Police Station Maloji Shinde.
The police then registered a case against unknown people under the Indian Criminal Code Section 302 (murder), 201 (causing loss of violations) and 34 (actions carried out by several people in the continuation of general intentions), based on complaints committed by his wife.
According to the police, the victim previously worked as a manager at the Powerloom factory, but lost his job during the transportation of rapture induced by Coronavirus which he began working as a driver with a taxi aggregator.
Both victims and his wife have extra marriage.
The woman wanted to divorce from her husband, but she objected to her affair, police official said.
He further said the woman was allegedly hatched a conspiracy to remove her husband and bring her friend’s help and Paramour.
The trio also allegedly received the assistance of two contract killers to remove the victims, he said, adding that for this, the woman arranged the payment of Rs 1 Lakh by selling jewelry.
On July 31, they rented a taxi to go to Mumbai along with the victim.
Enroute, in Mancholi, two controlled killers allegedly strangled the victim to death.
They left the body in the car and fled, the official said.
The woman, her paramour and her friend was arrested on Wednesday, while the hunt turned on for two contract killers, the official said.
Three accused of being arrested has been sent in police custody until August 13, police said.
