Thane: the body of a 47-year-old woman and her two children, one of them was underage, found in a flat here at Maharashtra on Tuesday, police said.
The police said that they suspected the trio, the residents of Naya Nagar under the Police of Mira Bhayander Vasai Virar (MBVV) Commissioner, ended their lives by consuming several pills.
The woman’s body, Nasreen Waghu, and her children – Daughter of 21 and 13-year-old son were sent to Postmortem at a government hospital in Mira Bhayander, they said.
The woman, whose children were challenged mentally, lived with her 72-year-old father in the flat, the police said.
There are no suicide records found, but some pills recover from flats, he added.
The case of unintentional death was registered and further investigation on, added the police.
