Nagpur: repeating that OBC reservation problems can now be resolved only through constitutional amendments, members of OBC MahasangH have decided to reach the main center leadership of all major political parties.
President OBC Mahasanh Baban Taywade said that on September 22 they would send a letter to the president, the Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Justice was released from the leader of the Sonia and Rahul Gandhi congress.
Taywade said, “What we want is just the Justice of the OBC community and currently cannot be done in a way that is intended because of many problems.
The 27% political reservation cannot be implemented because it will eventually violate the 50% limit.” Senior OBC leader said that the central leaders Must guarantee those 27% of reservations and ensure that the legal framework is in harmony with the same thing.
“Parliament must advance with constitutional amendments so that the 50% limit problem is handled.
Also, it is important that the data available with the Central Government regarding OBC is shared with the country so that they can also decide the best action,” Taywade said.
He further said that it was important for their community to suppress this demand because future scenarios might be different.
“For SC / ST, political reservations have been given based on populations.
So, in some districts where high-tribal populations, political reservations for OBC will be lacking.
In the future, it may not even exist,” Taywade said.
Taywade on Friday resigned from the OBC commission country, the decision he had shared with TOI on Wednesday itself.
