The Tollywood Ramesh Babu actor producer died at the age of 56, but his younger brother, Mahesh Babu, could not attend the last ritual on Sunday.
Mahesh recently returned from vacation in Dubai with family and was tested positive Covid-19 after arriving in India.
The actor is currently in quarantine and under house isolation until he recovers.
A spokesman confirmed the same thing and wrote on social media, “Mahesh Babu was under quarantine because Covid-19 and could not attend.” Both actors often share the screen when actors and Ramesh children have even produced several Mahesh films such as Arjun and Athidhi.

However, other family members and good sympathizers went to the last ritual that occurred at Mahaprasthanam on Sunday afternoon.
Ramesh suffered a heart attack on Saturday night on the way to the hospital.
He had been sick of heart problems for years before that.
His parents Krishna and Indira Devi looked grieving when they saw the mortal stay at Studio Padmayala.
Other family members such as Sudheer Babu and Naresh also rushed to the studio to pay their last respects.
President Maa Vishnu Manchu also attended the last ritual.
He brought social media to pay the condolences to the family, wrote, “condolences to Sri.
Krishna Garu, Mahesh, Manju Akka and their family members on Sri’s sudden death.
Ramesh Babu.
Pray for their strength and peace.
(Sic)” Other celebrities such as Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Nithiin, Varun Tej and more are brought to social media to pay homage.
