New Delhi: Mahindra and Mahindra on Tuesday launched Bolero Neo in three trim lines starting RS 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Bolero Neo is basically a facelifted TUV300 with a handful of cosmetic and structural changes, and feature updates.
Under the Bolero Neo hood is a 1.5-liter MHAWK diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheel.
Bolero Neo, aimed at the young and urban crowd, will be sold with Bolero.
TUV300, on the other hand, was removed from the beginning of BS6 emissions.
Bolero Neo is based on the third generation Mahindra platform that sustains like Scorpio and Thar.
In the cabin, cosmetic changes include new drivers and 7-inch infotainment systems.
Other features include Bluesense Connectivity, AC and automatic cruise controls.
Bolero Neo packs the configuration of seven seats with the third row facing sideways.
SUVs under 4 meters will compete with people like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and other sub-compact SUVs.
