Mahua Moitra oozes elegance on mag cover

Known for her hard-hitting one-liners in the parliament house, Indian politician Mahua Moitra is now hitting headlines for a different reason altogether.
The popular party worker of All India Trinamool Congress has just graced the cover of a popular fashion magazine.

First things first, a glimpse at the cover and Mahua nothing less than a legendary Bollywood actress, all decked up in a sari and oozing elegance.

For the cover page, Mahua has donned a handwoven colour block silk sari by designer Payal Khandwala, which is produced in limited quantities, and handwoven by trained artisans across West Bengal.
The politician teamed the sari with a three-fourth sleeved shirt style blouse and finished off the look with a red bindi.

Another look has Mahua flaunting a powder pink silk sari with a navy blue border, which she has teamed with a high neck blouse.
