Kolkata: With eyes in the 2022 assembly poll, Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Saturday referred to MP MP Mahua Moitra responsible for party cave units with direct effects.
In a statement, said the party, “Our honorable chairman Mamata Banerjee is happy to appoint Mahua Moitra, (MP, Krishnanagar Lok Sabha) as a state responsible for the AitC Goa unit with direct effects.” Previously on that day, the party nomined the former Chief of Cave Minister Luizinho Faleiro to Bypoll to the Sabha’s Rajya seat in West Bengal.
Faleiro, who left the Congress to join the Mamata Banerjee Camp in September, is currently holding the position of Vice President TMC.
Banerjee, Supremo TMC, have visited Goa last month and interacted with party workers and leaders there.
