Kanpur: The meeting with a representative of the network service provider was held here on Tuesday where the Deputy Election Officer Kanpur Nagar Dairand Prasad directed them to maintain their respective network on February 20, when voting would be held in the city.
Representatives of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, Airtel, Vodafone, Jio etc.
participated in the meeting.
During the discussion, the Deputy Election Officer, who was also an additional district judge (Finance & Revenue) asked them to defend their network without interruption on February 20 so that voting could take place smoothly at each voting center.
Representatives convinced to maintain their network without interruption that day.
