Lucknow: All universities, including private institutions, will conduct medium-term examinations in the 2021-22 academic session scheduled to start from September 13.
In its newest direction, the government has made medium-term exams for students who registered all courses, regardless of the system (semester or annual).
The idea is to ensure that students do not suffer if there are crisis situations such as Covid-19 pandemics.
“In the event that circumstances that cannot be avoided, medium-term examinations will help in the promotion of timely students without causing harm to them,” said the command issued by the Secretary of the Additional Head, Higher Education, Monika S Garg.
Landing is part of the newly released academic calendar for the 2021-22 session.
According to the calendar, the university must close fresh reception until the first semester / year on September 13.
To arrange an academic session, which slipped because of the prolonged closure of educational institutions after the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has also asked the institution to cut on a winter holiday, if needed.
In addition, teachers can be given 15 days of summer vacation taking turns so that learning is not simple.
The university has been instructed to approve only very important leaves, except pregnant, teaching and non-teaching staff.
Meeting the condolences only teachers and administrative staff will be held on campus only after 3pm.
Previously, the class would take place on campus, the order said.
The government has also instructed universities to hold extra / online classes if the total number of teaching – 90 for semester and 180 systems for annual systems – not fulfilled.
Students must be convinced to use a higher education digital library.
