Patna: Governor-cum-Chancellor of Phagu Chauhan University, Tuesday emphasized the need to instill the value of value in addition to training oriented career with modern youth so they could live a healthy and balanced life.
Presenting Chancellor’s Chancellor’s award with the scholars along with their mentor and their institution in Raj Bhavan Rajendra Mandapam, the governor said the young man today aspires to reach the moon, but they do not recognize their neighbors.
“This is only because they are not taught the basic principles of life and the people they live,” he added.
The Deputy Chancellor of LN Mithila University, Dr.
S P Singh, was awarded with the Best Award of Representative Chancellor for distinguished and contributed services for the development of all universities.
An N Shashi Pratap Shahi College and Patna High Principal Women Sister Rashmi is given as the best principals in the category of men and women, respectively.
Others who are felicitated on occasion including Vishwabandhu Upadhyay and Sonam Kumari from Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (Best Students in Academic), Sankit Kumar from TMBU and Ankita Kumari from Patna University (Best Students in Sports), Acharya Bhasakar from LN Mithila University and Sweta Bharti PU (best students in cultural activities) and Shahla Yasmin PU and Tanuja from Patliputra University (best teachers).
Rakesh Kumar Singh from Knowledge University Aryabhatta was awarded as the best young teacher with a research contribution in the field of modern science nano.
Patna University Deputy Chancellor Girish Kumar Chaudhary welcomed the guests.
