In Coimbatore, the city police registered a case of 450 BJP cadres under various parts of the Indian criminal code for the wrong restraint, fragments exploded and the assembly that violated the law.
While the police RS Puram registered a case against 200 officials including Vice President of the BJP District Mathankumar, 250 cadres including Nandakumar District President ordered in a separate case by the Peellamedu Police.
