Thiruvananthapuram: Minister of Education V Sivankutty said in the Assembly that the government had decided to increase a plus one seat by 20% in the Malabar region of this academic year.
The northern district of Thrissur will benefit from this, he said.
In the district there was no shortage of seats to plus one receipt.
The government has conducted a seat analysis based on student revenues in various streams from 2015 to 2020.
In this analysis it was found that there was no need to increase marginal in the chair, he said.

It has been decided to provide digital facilities to all students before the start of online education.
The number of students who lack digital facilities to attend online classes has been compiled at the school level in each district.
District collectors were asked to compile students’ statistics in their respective regions and report to the Ministry of Education.
The figure of the level of the final condition will be released soon, the Minister said.
Sivankutty said that online classes developed on the Google G Suite platform that comply with all cyber laws.
All safety steps have been taken for online classes through this platform.
The government has made special instructions that all details uploaded on the platform, and data custodians will only become the government.
This data (study material) cannot be used for other purposes or across.
The government has signed an agreement with Google for this, the Minister said.
