Malavika Mohanan has changed Muse to a popular Bollywood designer Shehla Khan and embrace the latest collection – ‘twilight symphony: a wedding affair’, which draws inspiration from the setting sun and the horizon.
In an exclusive interaction with Etimes, Malvika opened about a collection of bespoke and personal style quote:
What made you say yes to Shehla Khan? I am a fan of fashion, handloom and textiles attracted me.
I was in India, Shehla is one of the few people who do a very interesting job with a rope.
I love her dress, it was very feminine, completely ride up my alley.
I am very happy to be part of the job.
Describe your experience collaborating with Shehla …
I only spent a few hours with him while shooting for collection.
Unfortunately, it was a very busy day for me, so I had to hurry, but she was very sweet.
He was very specific when it comes to clothes and what he wants to portray.

What do you like most about the collection? When we look at Indian clothes like lehengas, we are used to seeing them in bright colors, he was under the shade of red or maroon, yellow.
But Shehla design in soft pastel colors.
This combined with the straps give the collection a dreamy vibe, thin.
