Ludhiana: Special Task Force (STF), Ludhiana, arrested a 56-year-old man and his son to sell medicines after 1.7kg Heroin recovered from their car parked outside their homes in the Block BRS Nagar JS on Monday night.
Contraband restored Rs 8.50 Crore costs in the international market.
The arrest was Satish Kumar and his son Suraj Kumar.
The police also restored electronic weighing machines, 30 empty packages and two matches from the car.
Ludhiana STF Inspector Inspector Harbans Singh said, “The defendant was arrested near their home with a tip-off.
They revealed that they bought heroin from Delhi to sell it to addicts in Ludhiana.
They have faced the trial in some cases peddling drugs.” Satish before was a driver automatic pedicab.

“We have known that the defendant has made property with drug money,” he added.
In another case, STF arrested Mohit Kumar, 24, from Tibba Road with a 500g heroin on Monday night.
Mohit, an immigration office employee, was arrested near his house when he would send medicine to his customers.
In both cases, the firs has been submitted.
