Male, wife involved in a knife battle in Jaipur, critical

Jaipur: a woman and her husband was hospitalized with a serious injury after the couple attacked each other with a knife in the Barkat Nagar area on Thursday.
The female father on Friday filed firs at the Bajaj Nagar police station against his son-in-law Prakash Yadav.
A senior police officer said Ekta Yadav (25) lived in a rented room in the Barkat Nagar area where he had prepared a different competitive exam.
Her husband, Prakash went to his room on Thursday and locked the door before he attacked him with a knife.
Siguffle broke out between them and the duo did not realize in a locked room for several hours before one of their relatives warned the police.
“One of the ETTA relatives looked through a high window that he and Prakash were on the floor and heavy bleeding,” said the Investigation Officer (IO) Mool Chand, added that the police transported the duo to the hospital where they were undergoing severe care.
“The couple is currently not in conditions of recording their statement,” he said.
The police said ETTA was Shahpura resident and she married Prakash two years ago.
The husband lives in the Chomu area.
“He has moved to the Barkat Nagar area where living in a rented room.
The girl’s father has filed brilliantly to her husband.
Because both of them underwent treatment, the reason behind their fights has not been confirmed,” the official said.
