Gurgaon: District Registrar has ordered an audit from the financial record of the owner’s association formed for the maintenance of the Central Plaza Center after several complaints of irregularities and sucking funds.
Last year, the association office carrier was ordered for alleged embezzlement of more than Rs 12 Crore.
Located along the golf path in Sector 53, the mall has around 60 stores, which was handed over by the builder to their owners in 2007.
The Association of the Welfare of the owner of the Plaza Mall Center was formed in 2008.
One year later, another community – City Center Forfare Plaza Mall Association – Start functioning.
There are conflicts of interest between members of the Association.
The two communities were merged and the association of the welfare of the central plaza owner was given to the maintenance of the mall in November 2012.
Meanwhile, some owners submitted complaints allegance that the new association called a public body meeting that violated the norm.
The complainant is also looking for an audit.
In 2018, a designated auditor.
Registrants of the Company and Community District, Sanjit Kaur, earlier this week directing the management of associations to immediately provide all documents as and when needed by the auditor.
