Gurugram: The owner of the MG Mall Road shop protests on Thursday against what they claim is the possibility of a spas shift and large-scale massage from Delhi to Gurugram.
Mal retailers said they were afraid of the relocation of massage parlors to Gurugram Mal would have a negative impact on their business that had been shaken under cowardly sales in the midst of the second wave of pandemic.
The Delhi government recently emerged with strict guidelines for massage parlors, limiting cross gender massage and mandating certified staff and CCTV cameras to examine sex trade and human trafficking.
Because of this strict guideline, Gurugram has witnessed a surge in space question with massage parlors and spas, according to shop owners and mall officials.
More than 100 shop owners protested in the MGF Metropolis Mall holding placards in their hands.
Some residential residents at Mill Mill also joined protests.
Their demonstrators accused that the spa created interference and family could not visit the mall on Jalan MG in the afternoon.
There are 11 spas that operate from MGF Metropolis Mall and one will come.
Akash Oberoi, a retailer at the MGF Metropolis Mall, said, “This mall has around 300 stores, which is around 50 blank at this time.
But for every empty shop, 4-5 people are ready to open a spa, they want to move from Delhi and ready Paying rent as high.
Mall already has 11 spas.
The problem is that women who work at this spa create a disorder.
This can have a negative impact on our business.
“In fact, there are more than 500 spas and massage parlors throughout the city and more than 50 have been Raided this year alone by Gurugram police.
Some of these mall staff were arrested for alleged their involvement in meat trade.
Condominium residents Mg Road also claimed that many of the spa trading racquets were under the garabat parror massage.
And the situation can change worse if more spas are allowed to operate in these malls.
“The Delhi government does not allow spas and illegal activities.
So, affected plans to shift to Gurugram.
Don’t make it ‘Sin City’,” said Rajeev Sinha, a resident of Essel Tower.
The protesters also met Gurugram Mla Sudhir Singla.
“There are no illegal activities that can be permitted in the mall,” said Singla, added that he had asked the Turugram police to keep an eye on the spa and massage parlor.
