Pune: All shops and malls will operate until 10pm – two hours more than the deadline of 8:00 – in Pune and the Civic Pimpri Chinchwad limit from Sunday after the guidelines for relaxation of the state government, but rural areas in the district will not get additional relaxation .
Deputy Minister of Chief Ajit Pawar on Saturday communicated the revised guidelines for city corporate areas in the district to the Saurabh Rao Division Commissioner because the meeting of the weekly Covid review was not done this week.
Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad, Commissioner of the city, Vikram Kumar and Rajesh Patil, respectively, then publish a fresh relaxation order on the line of state government in August.
According to a new direction, people can travel by local trains 14 days after getting a covid-19 vaccine dose.
Commuter who qualifies must buy through the system announced by the state government.
Pune Railroad Division Public Relations official Manoj Jhawar said he had not received any order and would plan only after getting instructions from the state government.
Salons, fitness centers, and spas have been allowed to keep open until 10pm in the corporate area.
Multiplex and places of worship will remain closed.
According to new guidelines based on the state government orders, customers must wear a mask while waiting for the table or until the food arrives.
The restaurant owner has been told to keep some windows or doors open for better ventilation.
Only people who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to enter the mall even though they will operate for hours.
Divisional Commissioner Rao said, “We were ordered by Deputy Minister of Chief to issue orders for the city area at the ranks of the state of the state government.
So, all shops, malls and restaurants will operate until 10 pm.
We have not relaxed restrictions in rural areas.

“We have cooperated with the Government in the Covid Mitigation Initiative for the past half a year.
Traders and shop owners follow the necessary precautions.
Additional working hours will be a big break for shop owners,” Pitaliya said.
Residents of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area also sighed relieved.
