When talking to the news portal, Mallika avoided taking the name and stating that last year a dead actor and in a very misogynist, people began to blame his girlfriend.
He continued to slam perception of women and the way they were treated.
Indirectly defending Rhea, Mallika further stated that there was no evidence that ‘poor girlfriends’ were involved and people blamed and manipulated it.

When asked whether the show was based on the incident of real life, Mallika stated that she did not want to take a name but it displayed many similar things.
