Mallika Sherawat was not one to chop his words and he was clearly not the type to apologize about the movement.
He never avoided the brave image, instead he made Risqué’s content look good to penetrate his career.
In exclusive interactions with Etime, Mallika talked about not changing her personality and was not disturbed about the status of the outsiders in Bollywood.
With a new show ‘Nakaab’ at the MX Player Offing, the actress looked back at her career with nonchalance and Candor.
Quote:

You are an outside saying in this industry.
Have you ever faced discrimination anytime in your career?
I don’t focus on negative things.
There are negative things in any industry throughout the world.
My tendency is to focus on positive things – what I get and what I do, the director and actors who work with me.
People still identify you with films like ‘khwahish’ and ‘murder’ even though you have done more.
Have you ever tried changing the picture?
I will not try to change my image, especially if people know me for it (laugh).
It is good for an actor known for something.
Highlight your international career is when you work with Jackie Chan in ‘The Myth’.
How do you look back at that experience now?
Well, it’s just the beginning of my career.
Myth gave me so many international exposure.
The film got a large international release.
Jackie took me to the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival where I met so many international directors and actors.
It was a very complete experience and a kind of eye opener, that there was a world outside Bollywood, too.
How do you look back on your trip through the film industry?
My trip was fantastic.
This is a crazy, unexpected, wild trip.
I have experienced success, failure, fame, wealth, loss, everything.
This is a satisfying trip and a great trip.
What should fans be expected from your new show?
They must expect a lot of masala in ‘nakaab’.
They must expect a lot of realism.
‘Nakaab’ mein kuch filmy nahi hi (no filmy in ‘nakaab’).
They must hope that I am, like Zohra Mehra, I will smoke and become badass.
