Microsoft has announced that it will begin launching Windows 11 from October 5.
However, before the official debut of the latest operating system of Windows 11-themed malware campaigns is trying to deceive people to share their financial data.
Attack Windows 11 Alpha malware is deceiving people by activating malicious code on their PC.
According to a report by computer bleeping, researcher Anomali Security has found this new malware attack that uses Word documents that claim to be made with ‘Windows 11 Alpha’.
This file then pushes the user to do a few simple steps to open it.
After the user takes the steps mentioned, a code will be activated that stole their financial information.
The researchers also revealed that Fin7 Cybercrime Group is likely to be responsible for the malware campaign.
Researchers cannot confirm the proper method of spreading malicious files but attackers tend to use phishing or spear phishing techniques.
According to the report, “Cybercriminal made a Microsoft Word document with a macro code which eventually downloaded the JavaScript backdoor which allows the attacker to provide any charge they want.
