New Delhi: Minister of Bengal Bengal Barat Mamata Banerjee arrived in the national capital on Monday on a five-day visit and is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.
According to the schedule provided by his Trinamool Congress, Mamata Banerjee was scheduled to meet Modi at 4 pm on Tuesday.
He was also scheduled to meet the host of Congress leaders, including Kamal Nath, Anand Sharma and Abhishek Manu Singhvi, on Tuesday.
Mamata Banerjee is likely to meet with President of RAM Nath Kovind and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday, said the source.
During his visit to Delhi amid the rainy season session, he would likely meet with other opposition party leaders too.
Supremo Trinamool Congress, who seemed to try to take a greater role in national politics before the Sabha’s selection in 2024, was visiting Delhi for the first time after leading his party in power in West Bengal for the third time.
